TABLE MOUNTAIN.

Boo on top of the world.
Tall Paul just a speck on the horizon.
Mules stop here. The final stretch to Table Mountain must be done on foot.
Wise old pines standing tall against the blue sky.
Lady bug at home in the wildflowers.
Butterflies by the hundreds.

Satisfaction.

MAMA'S GARDEN.

A lion head fountain inspired this space.
Serene green. Everywhere.
Lily pads provide texture on the water. And sentiments of the lake Mama grew up on in South Georgia.
Mama uncovered this overgrown pond and gave life to an oasis.
Some sculptures are timeless. Here, froggy.
Lotus in full bloom.
The artist adds strokes of color.
Delicacy.
Mama's sundial. The globe struck by cupids arrow.
The birds and the bees.

I recently returned to my home of Atlanta, Georgia
and was swept away all over again by
my Mama's garden.
The intricacies. The refuge. The color.
The garden is a journey all its own.
  Dig here, plant there.
It matures with time.
Water. Watch. Wonder.
Mother Earth surprises you.
The garden has a soul.

STARS AND STRIPES.

Nicole presents her Strawberry Rhubarb Crumble. Nice hat, sister.
Rose Petal Granola dressed by Nicole in Kerr's jars.
Nicole tops off some bubbly with her Rose Petal Rhubarb sauce.
All American records, fresh raspberries, and Nicole's Garret Leight sunnies.
Good things are made in Venice Beach, folks.
Rose from Demetria Winery just outside of Nicole's hometown of Santa Barbara, California.
One of my favorite girls in the whole wide world is in Jackson Hole. Visiting me.
I have not laughed this hard in years. And I laugh a lot.
Meet, Nicole {first generation Greek-American} Argyropoulos.

Nicole was born and raised in Santa Barbara, California. She works in environmental and social initiatives for Patagonia, Inc and is currently in
Grad School at Duke University for Environmental Economics and MBA.

This brainy, beautiful, hilarious human being stayed up 'til 4am last night baking
Rose Petal Granola, Strawberry Rhubarb Crumble, and Rose Petal Rhubarb Syrup.
To be poured over cocktails, spritzers, you name it. Yum.

My girl here helps to protect our planet and fancies creativity in the kitchen. But that is not all.
Nicole spent 30 days backpacking the Alaskan Wilderness...
and used to play the trumpet.

Take a look at Nicole's favorite food blog.
Get busy, now. This one is for the Stars and the Stripes.
