BAJA CALIFORNIA SUR.

Los Cabos Top 10

10. Watching the neon moon grow every day and every night. And seeing it light up the Sea of Cortez like a giant disco ball suspended in space.

9. Laying my eyes on El Arco for the first time. And getting to glue them there over a candlelit dinner on the shore, complete with ponchos, live music, fireworks, and a sailboat strung with Christmas lights on the horizon.

8. Stumbling upon a truck being slammed with waves at 7AM and nearly buried in sand. Too much tequila the night before. I thought, Mexican Man Problems? {Don't worry, they got a tow.}

7. Morning {beach and barefoot} runs to the pelican rock or Hotel Marbella's sleepy cove.

6. Guiding our lantern into the night sky and making a wish as it floated off with dozens others. The Mexican Fiesta on the beach felt like a fabulous destination wedding. We were the 3rd cousins removed

5. That 1st tequila of the day {Hornitos on the rocks} paired with a splash of fresh pineapple juice and lime.

4. Night cap of churros {dowsed in sugar and grease} from the street vendor in San Jose.

3. Holding Bode's hand as he rode Chupito {his ornery pony with a platinum Bouffant hairdo} along the water at sundown.

2. Cruising the art district of San Jose del Cabo for the collaborative weekly Art Walk. Imagine strolling down the colorful lane of a posh Mexican movie set, indulging in lobster and a mariachi trio at the infamous Mi Casa,  and triple-fisting a variety of local red wines as you absorb Mexican culture, creativity, and tradition.

1. My first {DOLPHIN} kiss. Apollo, I love you.

Sending love one last time from the Baja, baby!
