CAT TALES

At home in Grand Teton National Park.

TODAY IS THE BEST DAY OF MY LIFE.

CAT TALES is a play on Cat tails. Cat-tails are a wild, wetland grass that my sweet papa first introduced me to on the banks of fishing ponds in South Georgia. The whimsical stalks and unusual flowering blades seemed ever present on my childhood excursions outdoors. My dad started calling me "Catail" when I was knee-high to a grasshopper. I am still Catail after all these years, but most call me Cat.

I started CAT TALES a few years ago when I set off on an open-ended fly fishing trip throughout the West, British Colombia, and the Pacific Northwest. Its purpose remains to share my journey and inspire yours.

I live in beautiful Jackson Hole, Wyoming.
