THE SNAKE.

An apple a day...
Levi's on the river turn me on.
Pelicans in Wyoming.
I love this man.
Oh, hey bug.
We ain't scared.
What a beauty.
Load the raft, stock the cooler, and toss the sunscreen in the bag. Let's go.
At the moment, I cannot imagine a finer way to spend the day than on the Snake River.
Working hard on our tans, swimming in the cold, and laughing over wildlife wore us out today.
This first float of the season feels like one thing to me: Summer.

The Snake says, hello.

JACKSON HOLE 1/2 MARATHON.

There is something about a tutu that makes a girl feel good after running 13.1 miles.
Best friends, Liz and Sarah energized with dozens more runners at the start line.
I made the paper.

SLEEPING INDIAN.

Peace offering.
I try not to blow over the edge of the Belly.
Boo lets the wind blow through his hair at over 11,000 feet.
The Kleyman fellas pause for a family portrait. Three generations if you count Boo.
Becky Kleyman is a burst of color beneath the rugged Tetons.
I find my happy place in a bed of wild flowers.
Cart Wheel challenge in the fierce Wyoming wind.
Paul walks ahead of me in the windy meadow.
I celebrated Father's Day with my boyfriend, Paul's family in the National Elk Refuge. At 8 o'clock in the morning, we set off to climb the Sleeping Indian, officially Sheep Mountain on the maps. The climb was so pleasant with all of the new growth sprouting from the Earth. There were dozens of wildflowers, blooming in every shape, color and size. There were vivid green forest laden with fallin timber, rocky meadows, and insane views of the Tetons at every lift of the eyes. The butterflies and the aspen leaves fluttered, and the tall grass keeled over in the breeze. This 13 mile round trip was the perfect way to spend a beautiful Jackson summer day.

When you go, be sure to pack:
1. Sturdy jacket for the wind
2. Jolly ranchers for sweet tooth
3. Walking stick for stability
4. Pic-nic for energy stops
5. Sunnies for eyes
6. SPF for skin
6. Camera for documentation
7. Water with lemon for hydration
8. Your best friend for fun fun fun

Enjoy the journey,
My sore {but very happy} legs.
